For medical legal reasons and to prevent errors all requests must be in writing and cannot be taken over the telephone. Your repeat prescription should either be brought into the surgery or posted to us. Repeat prescriptions are monitored by the doctors and you will be asked to attend for a review.
Please allow 4-5 days (excluding weekends and public holidays) for collection.
If you have more than one repeat prescription, please try and order all your items together.
You can either deliver or post your repeat prescription to the surgery. If you have access to the internet, you can order your repeat prescriptions online. Please take ID with you to the reception, they will issue you with a username and password after verifying your ID.
If you are receiving medication which is not on your repeat prescription request form then please make an appointment to come in and see the doctor or book a telephone consultation appointment and discuss with the doctor.
You can collect the prescription from the surgery, but we would prefer you to use our NEW ePS service and collect directly from a pharmacy local to you.
We now use Electronic Prescribing (ePS)
- Speak to your pharmacy for a sign up form and get your prescription delivered directly to your pharmacy of choice!
- Some medications are excluded by the NHS from the scheme. Please check with reception.
- Once you have requested you repeat prescription, please check directly with your pharmacy if it is ready. Please do not phone the surgery.
